Some of you may remember that earlier this year, Islamists shut me out of a hearing on contraception. In fact, on that panel, they didn’t hear from a single woman, even though they were debating an issue that affects nearly every woman. Because it happened in The Islamic Council On High, people noticed. But it happens all the time. Many women are shut out and silenced. So while I’m honored to be standing at this podium, it easily could have been any one of you. I’m here because I spoke out, and this Ramadan, each of us must do the same.
During this campaign, we’ve heard about the two profoundly different futures that could await women—and how one of those futures looks like an offensive, obsolete relic of our past. Warnings of that future are not distractions. They’re not imagined. That future could be real.
In that Iran, your new president could be a man who stands by when a public figure tries to stone a private citizen to death. Who won’t stand up to the acid attacks to our sisters faces, or to any of the extreme, bigoted voices in The Moslem Brotherhood. It would be an Iran in which you have a new vice president who co-sponsored a bill that would allow raped women to be put to death for having dishonor brought to their families. An Iran in which states humiliate women by forcing us to endure modesty checks of our fashion choices. An Iran in which access to equal rights is controlled by people on the Islamic High Council; in which Imams redefine rape so survivors are put to death for dishonoring their clans; in which someone decides which botched cliterectomy victims deserve help, and which don’t. We know what this Iran would look like. Right now, it’s the Iran we are. But it’s not the Iran we should be.
Multiculturalism's Big Lie

If you hear the promoters of liberal multiculturalism in the Los Angeles area talk, they promote two ideas that seem contradictory at their very core. These two ideas are communism, and getting Hispanics to retain their “native” Spanish language. In the multi-culturalist’s mind, the rationale in support of these two qualities is that capitalism and the English language have been forced upon the native cultures by white European colonial “oppressors.”
The reasoning that these multi-culturalists use is that if capitalism and the English language had not been forced upon innocent natives in the Americas, the problems facing these groups of people would have never happened. The fallacy inherent in this argument is that capitalism and English were never forced on the Central and South American natives by the people who conquered them. They were colonized by people who spoke Spanish themselves, which is why their descendents speak Spanish today. Instead of being subjected to free market capitalism, their ancestors were subjected to the slave economy that colonial powers in the 16th century like Spain operated under. In that system, caste and class systems kept people from ascending or falling in economic status based on the content of their character or drive to get ahead. The system was based on one’s position in the Spanish monarchy or with one’s relation to the Catholic church (an antiquated and brutal Catholic church that is far different than the one we have today). Slavery in this era of world history was not an exception, it was the rule, and no one was immune to being subjugated by cultural annihilation, forced conversion, or slavery after being conquered.

Plus, the native peoples of the Americas had plenty of problems amongst themselves – like wars, poverty, oppression, their own systems of slavery and human sacrifice – before any Europeans arrived.
What is truly shocking is that if you look at the facts, no two things were more destructive in the past and more destructive in the present to the native cultures of the people of Central and South America than statist economic systems like the caste/slavery system of the past and communism in modern eras.
What multiculturalism dogma ignores is where the Spanish language and economic ideas of communism come from. The Spanish language comes from…SPAIN (duh!), with its roots coming from Rome’s ancient language, Latin. In fact, when the descendants of the people of Central and South America distinguish themselves as Latino or Hispanic rather than as descendents of natives of the Americas, they are actually giving a nod to the very “white male, Conquistador colonial Catholics” who enslaved and eradicated the American natives’ ancestors in the first place. With a little research (like looking at a map of the world) the multiculturalist would see that Spain is located on a continent called Europe which shatters the idea that Spanish is anything but a language that comes from dead white European men.
The cozy relationship that multiculturalism has with communism is even more hypocritical. Communism is usually cited as an anti-colonialist/anti-European ethos but has there been a more colonial movement than communism? Has there been a system of modern governance that has more in common with the ancient, unfair European feudal system of life in which noblemen ruled serfs who worked the land and did all the physical labor for almost no compensation? First theorized by Engels and Marx (two dead white European males) communism (socialism) has colonized huge swaths of the planet. Most of Southeast Asia succumbed to this invasive European ideology. Pol Pot’s Cambodia, Ho Chi Minh’s Vietnam, Kim Il Sung’s North Korea and Mao’s China are the poster children of communist colonial imperial expansionism, and examples of the inevitable poverty and slaughter that occurs when the ideology takes over nations or entire regions. Most of these maniacs learned their communist economic ideas in Paris which was the bourgeois heart of it all. They learned at French universities like the Sorbonne then brought the ideas home to make real their own perverse power fantasies of being noblemen ruling a population of serfs.
In the western hemisphere, Castro has been making Cubans miserable for over 60 years, and now the South American communist renaissance, led by Venezuela’s Hugo Chavez, is engulfing the continent. The results in the next few years will inevitably mirror what communism caused everywhere else on the planet. Central America is dealing again with Daniel Ortega in Nicaragua. Hondurans heroically removed from office a president in 2009 who tried to seize power and impose communism, but it’s not over because former president Manuel Zaleya is still trying to return (and he’s getting the help of Democrat politicians in the United States like Representative Jan Schakowsky of Illinois).
American educators and their colleagues who share the ideas of Castro, Mao and Chavez are hard at work in the bureaucracy of the Los Angeles school system (and other school systems around the country), planting seeds for the nightmare harvest they wish to reap. These activist teachers, administrators, and politicians are doing their best to make the communist hell on earth one day comes to pass in the United States – the very hell that the parents of many Spanish speaking students escaped from. These “educators” do everything they can to make integration and assimilation into American culture as difficult as possible for these students, under the rationale that they are being “sensitive” to the kids’ native cultures. Curriculums bombard children with anti-capitalist messages that decry the free market and teach how unfair and how inequitable the American economic and judicial systems are. They are taught the history of their native lands from the perspective of the communist politburos and council on highs with short shrift given to the history of America, our Constitution, and how our republic fought a war with itself to eradicate slavery. Instead of being immersed in English and made proficient in it, these kids are forced to participate in the curriculum of bi-lingual education, or are taught entirely in Spanish so that they never learn English.
At some schools in the Los Angeles area the reverence for communism, and the rejection of American heroes, includes what holidays are or are not celebrated and what days off kids get or don’t get. Columbus day had to go so now many schools give kids a day off to reflect on the great historical contributions of communist farm-worker union activist Cesar Chavez.
The belief that America is unfair and oppressive will become a self fulfilling prophecy for the students left permanently handicapped by these educational practices. By teaching future generations of Americans useless curriculum so that they leave school incompetent, angry, and unable to compete for high-paying jobs that require English skills, the communist-sympathizing teachers’ horrific vision of America will come true.
There is no worse way to insult the legacy of the native people of the Americas than to force their descendents to live under communist oppression that mirrors the worst of feudal Europe, all the while subjecting them to the “thought prison” of not being fluent in the very language of their nation. Only by firing those in positions of power and taking back our educational system will we be able to break these kids out of that prison. When freed, these kids will be successful participants in a vibrant, prosperous, and strong American society.

Once Contraception is “free” How are you going to get it?

Democrats love to promise people things and blame republicans for that thing not being available. The latest thing being promised is contraception.

A question the contraception-promising liberal democrats should ask themselves before they legislate free contraceptive for all is: if the contraceptive is free and those who produce it, have to produce it for no cost and derive no profit from its manufacture and distribution, is “who's going to make it?”

No one does anything in the free market without profiting from their effort so why would anyone make anything that the government tells them to make without making a profit? The liberals who are on the vanguard of this issue will tell us that the manufacturers will continue to get paid by the taxpayers who fund the government for those goods but how will this last and how long will this last? Or as liberals love to ask: how will this be sustainable when eventually, those in charge of the government accuse the producers of these products of fleecing the taxpayers? Think it can't happen? Look at the petroleum industry. Currently the biggest profiteer from a gallon of gasoline is the federal government but this “windfall” profit that the government gets for doing nothing does not prevent politicians from constantly accusing the oil companies of reaping “windfall” profits. The fact is that an oil company makes 9 cents of profit per gallon of gas after doing all the work to extract, refine and distribute the final product to you and me. The U.S. Federal government makes 37 cents per gallon of gas in profit from doing nothing but leveling that 37 cent-per-gallon federal gasoline tax on each gallon sold. These facts make one re-evaluate who's doing the “windfalling.”

When talk by upstart politicians trying to get their names in the news about leveling “windfall” profit taxes on the oil companies in order to pad the government's already existing oil tax base, the oil companies are only incentivized to do only one thing: sell less gas.

Let's now apply the same incentive principle to contraception. Does one actually believe a politician someday won't “investigate” how much a drug company or condom company is making in profits from the subsidies that are paid them by the government to supply birth control pills or latex condoms to all the people who use them? What happens when the government, in an austerity measure or out of legal action stops paying the amount of money to these companies needed for them to produce and distribute their products? Does one really believe they will continue to do so? Of course not. The only eventual outcome will be that these products will totally disappear from the marketplace. At that point, rest assured, the same politicians who demanded that these products are made available to the public “for free” will blame the companies that no longer make them and their political opponents for the products absence.

The other alternative result is that once the companies that currently produce these products stop doing so, the government itself will step in to do it. This never ends well because when government does something the private sector can and should do, the first thing that suffers is quality and the second is safety. Fine, have the government make our condoms and birth control pills but who will be held accountable when the condom proves to be leaky and the birth control pills cause permanent sterility? The answer is no one because the politicians who created this mess will have long since retired.

How ironic then that the very people blaming their political opponents for “denying” safe and reliable contraception to women will be the ones who are actually denying, over the long term, safe and reliable contraception to women.
The Romney-fication of the Tea Party

Movements and elections are based and happen because of ideas, not because of compromises. In 2009, the greatest, most effective, most civil and the kindest protest movement in the history of the world was born. It is called the Tea Party. It sprung up in response to two political realities. The first was in opposition to the Obama administration lie to cut government spending and deficits when Obama and the democrat congress passed the stimulus bill and the budget plan that quadrupled government spending and debt from where the Bush administration had taken it. The second was in response to an emasculated republican party that just seemed willing to go along to get along with the thuggery and intimidation of the democrats going back some eight years to President George W. Bush's “compassionate conservative movement” which made the GOP nothing more than a group of eunuchs practicing the same policy ideas as the democrats but on a smaller scale. What most pundits missed in Obama's 2008 electoral triumph was that the GOP got routed not because Obama was such a magical figure but because the republican party had turned into nothing more than the “democrat lite” party.

The rise of the Tea Party was meteoric because of the integrity of the movement. This integrity was based entirely on ideas and the ideas were quite simple: freedom, responsibility and government accountability. These three principles created a huge tent for the movement to exist under because many of the contradictory positions that usually tear movements apart had room to coexist. Social conservatives and social libertarians could both come together to petition the government to get its spending under control. Fiscal conservatives could join the other groups on spending issues and agree with them on issues of government overreach and taxation. Even socially conservative and libertarian leaning democrats joined the movement in opposition to Obama's cap and trade and health care reform bills. A fact that is unreported in the main stream media is that four in ten Tea Party people are people who were registered democrats in the 2008 election cycle.

Only a movement based on clear ideas and ideology that has mass appeal could attract such a diversity of political adherents.

After early victories like the defeat of tax and spending bills in California, the election of Scott Brown in Massachusetts, Chris Christie in New Jersey and Bob MacDonald in Virginia, the movement had its gigantic victory in the 2010 midterm elections. 2010's election brought to power governors like Scott Walker in of all places Wisconsin, who then, following through with Tea Party ideas and ideology struck a lethal blow to the government spending power of Teacher's unions by eliminating collective bargaining for health and retirement benefits. The activist unionized left and the democrat party made Madison ground zero for an all out assault on Tea Party activism in response. The lesson of Wisconsin is that Tea Party ideas win elections and defeat the left in almost every part of the United States.

Which brings us to 2012. Having achieved all out victory and proving that real Tea Party conservatism even appeals in some of the bluest states like New Jersey and Wisconsin, the “wise” powers that be in the GOP have aligned behind the one candidate in the republican field who believes in absolutely nothing: Mitt Romney.

To be sure, all of the remaining candidates in the GOP field have their liabilities. Newt Gingrich and Rick Santorum have both committed spending and size-of-government anti-conservative heresies. While of concern, given their overall records of accomplishment for the conservative cause, they are forgivable. Ron Paul, while excellent on fiscal and sound-money issues, is unelectable by Tea Party people and “neo-con” republicans because of his dangerously irresponsible foreign policy and anti-Israel stances but only Mitt Romney presents something that is not only lethal to the GOP electoral chances against Barack Obama in November 2012, but also something lethal to the Tea Party itself: a complete void in the realm of ideas.

Romney is the type of candidate the Tea Party aligned voter had come to loathe by 2008 and became dedicated to defeating in 2010 and into the future: career politicians interested in nothing but getting elected. It's not just that Romney is a glib, flip-flopping politician, it is that he is just as much of a feckless empty suit as their ever has been in American presidential politics. Romney is so devoid of real belief that he develops a stuttering speech impediment whenever he tries to recite conservative boilerplate talking points but is as smooth as silk when talking about defending the Massachusetts disaster, Romney-Care. As soon as Romney actually has to address tax-spend, foreign or regulation policy points his belief free “poker tell” stutter shows up.

Case and point is what most supporters indicate as Romney's strongest attribute which is that he is electable. What does that even mean? Electable? Who isn't electable? Charles Manson? O.J.? Barack Obama was electable. Henry Waxman was electable, Maxine Waters was electable. Even the completely insane sounding Nancy Pelosi was electable! The electability argument means nothing. It does not indicate that a candidate believes anything or that he has any honesty or integrity. When people voted for Obama in 2008, most had no idea what he believed and when they found out, they abandoned supporting his lies for the integrity of the Tea Party. Will we in the Tea Party become so paranoid to beat Obama, that we lose all perspective and abandon our strongest attributes which are our ideas even after we have the evidence in the 2010 victory that proves conservative ideas win everywhere that voters have a real chance to vote for them?

Romney presents two grave dangers to America. One is that Obama will surely be re-elected if he is the GOP nominee because few will be energized to support him but the worse danger is this: If Tea Party members give in to fear and join the establishment GOP in nominating the idea free electable candidate, we will see our movement truly die and it's our movement which is the last best hope for America to remain the protector of freedom in the world.

I beg my fellow Tea Party members to not commit organizational suicide because Tea Party organizational suicide will lead to the death of the republic. If the American republic is lost, western civilization will soon go with it.

Something amazing happened at the Occupy LA rally last night. Who knew a capitalist would confront the people at the Occupy LA Rally.

Funny but who knew that so many of the Occupy LA crowd would support Herman Cain for president. The even chanted “9-9-9!” Looks like Cain has crossover appeal that the GOP establishment has overlooked.
Occupy LA is backed and led by several out of the closet communists who are part of the Communist Party USA. For more info about them check out the link below.

http://trevorloudon.com/2011/10/communists-lead-occupy-los-angeles-movement-nationwide-takeover-planned/
